The Heroes

Heroes are based on historical figures. Each hero is created with a random Element, initial Skills, and Attributes. The heroes' attributes increase as the heroes level up from winning battles.

When a player first logs in, they will receive four Heroes(pre-alpha only). Each Hero will be generated with 8 random skills. The player will be able to choose which 6 skills they would like to equip onto their hero.

Elements

Each character and most skills will have an element associated with them. Each Element is strong and weak against other elements, understanding this and fully utilizing the Element system is key to winning the match. The Elements weaknesses and strengths are as follows:

Science - Strong against Community and weak against Body.

Body - Strong against Science and weak against Mind.

Mind - Strong against Body and weak against Art.

Community - Strong against Art and weak against Science.

Art - Strong against Mind and weak against Community.

It is important to note that elements are both offensive and defensive.

For example:

A Body attack against a Mind hero will be less effective than a Science attack, because Body is weak against Mind whereas Science and Body are neutral.

Additionally, an Art attack against a Mind hero will be stronger than a Science attack, because Art is strong against Mind.

Attributes

The Heroes’ Attributes determine the in-battle resources available to each hero. These are assigned randomly when the Hero is generated and increase randomly when the Hero levels up. The Attributes are as follows:

Health - Determines the hero’s HP, does not restore over time and cannot be resorted by the Rest action.

Speed - Determines the order of play (turns), is a resource for every action, restores 50% of its max value each round, and cannot be resorted by the Rest action.

Strength - Determines the strength of Physical Attacks, used as a resource by some skills, restores 50% of its max value each round, and can be resorted by the Rest action.

Dexterity - Determines the strength of Technical Attacks, used as a resource by some skills, restores 50% of its max value each round, and can be resorted by the Rest action.

Intelligence - Determines the strength of Mental Attacks, used as a resource by some skills, restores 50% of its max value each round, and can be resorted by the Rest action.
